 The Bainbridge Classic Is On!
By Leigh Manheim
After many trials and tribulations, the Bainbridge Classic will be held at Cottingham Farm on Bainbridge Island on June 6th and 7th!  You can arrive on Friday June 5th to get settled in and do some schooling, and the show will get started at 8 a.m. the next morning, Saturday June 6th. We’ve pared down the class list to divisions and the derbies only, to keep the show to two days, and we will get your prize lists out to you shortly.  We will have stalling available, some in the main barn and some in portable stalls, so let us know asap how many stalls you will need for your barn; first come, first served on stalls in the main barn.  Pony Club has agreed to do the food for us, and our coffee vendor will be there too.  We’re planning an informal gathering for Saturday night; details to follow on that soon. We appreciate your continued support for the Classic; this year will be fast and furious and, we hope, a lot of fun!  Please contact us if you have questions:

Schooling Show Sponsors This year the Board is encouraging local barns to sponsor a Schooling Show.  The April 11 Schooling Show was fabulously sponsored by Blue Heron Farm.   Please contact any Board member if your barn would like to sponsor a Schooling Show – it’s easy and fun and only
requires volunteer help from your barn for the Schooling Show that you sponsor!
Volunteer Opportunities  The Board is looking for some volunteers to assist with building some new picnic tables and benches for the Saddle Club.  Any handy carpenters out there who would like to help out?
Please contact Kristi Barr at 842 1812.
