Dressage Ride & Review

Registration IS NOW OPEN through Friday, July 19

Registration is complete when payment is received.  No cancellations or refunds.

A Ride & Review is a great way to get assistance on problem areas with your test of choice.  You will ride your test for our judge and then get immediate feedback and assistance from the judge on specific areas.  This is great for those of you new to Dressage and experienced riders as well.  Take what you learn in this clinic and apply it to the show on July 28th!

Ulla Boysen will be judging your ride and providing feedback and assistance.  She attended Strömsholm and many other USDF instructors symposia and clinics. She has over 30 years experience as a dressage instructor and her students compete through FEI levels. Her home base is Barnabee Farm on Bainbridge Island, WA, USA.

Ulla’s basic philosophy is to work within the tenets of classical dressage and always strive to do what is for the best of the horse while developing his confidence and athletic capacity to its fullest potential while (and most importantly) keeping him sound and happy for many years.

In teaching, she feels that it is very important to help the riders learn:

1.) What dressage riding and training is all about; to ride with feeling and harmony and to understand the horse’s psyche and natural instincts and to work with the horse and not against him.

2.) How to communicate with their horses in a logical and consistent manner.

3.) How to develop a confident and willing horse.
