Are you a member?

The Bainbridge Island Saddle Club is a private property owned and managed by the members of the club. In order to ride or park a trailer on the property, use the pole stalls, the arena and jumps, you must be a BISC member.

Don't be deterred though! There is a membership for you, even if you are just visiting:

  • 3-day weekend
  • Introductory 1st year
  • Junior (under age 18) annual
  • Senior (individual 18 or older)
  • Family
  • Trainer
  • Social for unmounted events

Rules for Use

  • Use is restricted to members of the club with the exception of Schooling Shows or other BISC public events
  • Helmets are required for all riders when mounted
  • Riders under the age of 18 must be under the supervision of an adult while riding
  • Jumping allowed only with trainer supervision. Trainer must be a member
  • Dogs must be leashed and are not allowed in the arenas
  • Ride safely and courteously:
    • Keep your horse under control at all times
    • Pass left shoulder to left shoulder when traveling in opposite directions
    • Give the right of way to horses that are jumping
    • Halt if a rider falls off a horse
  • If an accident occurs that requires emergency services, fill out an Accident Report Form (available in the office) and mail to the address on the form.
  • If equipment is damaged, do not use it.  Remove from the arena and contact a board member.
