About us...Bainbridge Island Saddle Club is a membership organization whose purpose is to promote good horsemanship and foster amateur equestrian sports in the Bainbridge Island community and surrounding areas. Our membership term extends from March to March of each year, We host a variety of educational activities such as schooling shows and clinics for children and adults, as well as special member-only events including equestrian gaming, demonstrations and fun gatherings to build community. Our schooling show series includes hunter-jumper and dressage and extends April-October. We provide a fun and supportive environment for all to learn and gain experience with their horses in financially accessible competition. We come together at the end of our show season with an annual awards banquet to celebrate and honor the achievements of our members. Bainbridge Island Saddle Club also partners with other non-profit organizations in pursuit of these purposes, and is the home of the Bainbridge Island Pony Club who sponsors horsemanship certifications, show rallies, summer camp and social events at the Saddle Club. Each member of the Bainbridge Island Pony Club must hold an active Saddle Club membership. |
