SPRING CLEANUP PARTY!!
March 20, 2021

Spring is in the air... Time to whip the Saddle Club grounds into shape for our first spring schooling show in just a few weeks.

Morning coffee, pastries, and lunch will be provided...
WHAT TO BRING:
  • Work Gloves
  • Blowers (one blower can do the job of multiple rakers)
  • Rakes
  • Hoes
  • Wheelbarrows
  • Hand Clippers
  • Tarps
  • Pole Saws
  • Chain Saw

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

  • Sign in at office

  • Choose from tasks listed above when you arrive, pls. look for gaps 

  • Tarps will be placed around club for debris, rather than multiple wheelbarrow trips to compost area, dump multiple loads on tarp and then drag tarp to compost

  • Lunch will be offered around noon, please bring own water/drinks

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE::

  • Rake and remove leaves and debris from within/around arenas and holding area

  • Tidy up area surrounding office and cook shack, rake, prune, wipe down tables

  • Rake up debris in front/adjacent stalls, remove to compost area (much debris is piled up under trees, this can be removed to compost area)

  • Rake up debris, cut back and remove growth surrounding jump shed & bleechers

  • Rake debris away from road and parking areas

  • Wipe down, sweep and scrub office and bathrooms
And don't forget your smile :D  We are going to have fun in the fresh air and getting the club in tip top shape!!  Looking forward to seeing you all!

PS - We will be following COVID Protocols - Mask and Social Distancing will be required
