Christine Headley’s Cavaletti Clinics have become a favorite for riders in our region because they’re fun, engaging and beneficial for horses of every discipline and level! Each clinic is designed around purposeful cross training exercises that improve communication, balance and connection between horse and rider. Groups work through a variety of patterns and exercises tailored to their level and individual goals from simple, confidence building exercises to more advanced pole work.

Pole and cavaletti work offers tremendous benefits for the horse, including improved proprioception, coordination, core strength, limb articulation, muscular strength, suppleness, focus and body awareness. Throughout the clinic, riders will focus on balance, alignment, energy, suppleness, rhythm, and tempo.

CHD Cavaletti Clinics welcome riders from every discipline- dressage, eventing, hunter/jumper, endurance, barrel racing, trail, pleasure, and everything in between! Christine brings a positive, encouraging, and thoughtful approach to her teaching, creating an environment where riders can challenge themselves, learn something new, and leave feeling more confident, connected, and excited about their riding.

ALL LEVELS WELCOME! From green horses and riders to advanced competitors, if you can safely control your horse in a group lesson, you belong in this clinic!

Raised poles and cantering over poles are reserved for the advanced groups only. 

Meet the Clinician:

Christine Headley is a USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalist, a USPC "A" Graduate, and a USDF Certified Instructor. She’s got a wealth of experience in eventing and hunter/jumpers, and her cross-training approach is all about rideability, harmony, and having fun while leveling up your skills. Christine will help you move forward with confidence, whether you're looking to finesse your riding or take your horse to the next level!

• Auditors: $20 payable at the event
